Indirect ELISA test for the serological discrimination of BVDV-1 and BVDV-2 in ruminants
Eradikit® BVDV 1-2 Ab Discrimination kit is a indirect test able to discriminate between infections caused by Bovine Viral Diarrhoea virus type 1 and type 2 in ruminants
The test detects antibodies against E2 protein of both viruses in blood serum as well as in indivudual or bulk milk samples

Eradikit BVDV 1-2 Discrimination kit ELISA includes:
- Discrimination plate
Plates are in the F8-strip format
Each plate is coated with antigens from BVDV1 (odd columns) and BVDV2 (even columns)
Each plate allows to test up to 46 samples
Short protocol
- Samples are directly diluted into the wells and incubated 60’ at Room Temperature
- After washing, the enzyme-labeled, anti-species globulin conjugate is added and incubated for 45’ at Room Temperature
- After washing, the substrate is added and the colorimetric reaction is read at 450nm after 15’
